  2.                                                         BORINGCLOCK?

  4. This little application is just another one that displays the time.
  5. However, it is system friendly and does not waste screen space by using a little window. This tiny window is displayed in color. The colors can be changed with the Special menu.
  6. You can also check the option "Finder to Front" in the Special menu so that the Finder will be brought to the front the next time you start up the program.
  7. There is also a menu called Time, which will show other time zones in the window. 
  8. It is shown in the menu which locations are in the same timezone.

  10. The best thing is to put an alias in the Startup Items folder in the System folder. 
  11. If you did and you want to shutdown your Mac, you do not have to quit the application explicitly. But only if your machine supports Gestalt ( a dialog will warn if your Mac doesn't ), because the Finder will then sent a Quit Aplication message to BoringClock? which in turn will obey and quit.

  13. BoringClock? only runs on Macintoshes which support Color QuickDraw or it will show a dialog and quit.
  14. If you do not have Color QuickDraw and still want such an application then use the SimpleClock programs I have also included. They run in black and white.

I have tested this applications on several machines. It works fine. However, if something went wrong ( your Mac explodes in yer face; jumps outta window; smashes your glasses; vivisects your pet ), I am not responsible. You are allowed to sent me an e-mail scolding at me and saying ugly things, but do not forget to report the bug. I will laugh in response and check BoringClock?. If I found the problem, I will sent you an update accompanied by a friendly note.

  20. BoringClock? is a system friendly application and should therefore not crash any other programs. If it did, I am still not responsible but your Mac is. Blame him!
